Artist Vic Nguyen is taking commissions for turning your photos into awesome pixel portraits! His vixels, as they are called, are a little reminiscent of 8-bit Twitter avatars, but turned up a few degrees with way more detail.
Mustaches, beards, dimples, even your haircut are turned into exact pixel replicas.

Crayon Portrait by Christian Faur
This incredibly detailed portrait was created entirely out of hundreds of wax crayons, carefully places and arranged to act like oversized pixels. From a distance it’s near impossible to even spot the portrait is made from crayons, but up close the magnitude of creating such a wonderful piece is fully appreciated.
